A new island off Tonga has been formed as a result of the volcanic eruption of the Hunga Tonga volcano in January earlier this year.
The new island is about 65 kilometers south west of the nations capital It started forming in January after a volcano began erupting.
The highest point of the island is approximately 250 meters. The island is 800m wide and 1.3km long.
