Auckland gets electric trains

Auckland gets electric trains

Auckland has welcomed and celebrated its first electric train.


The first service started at about 10am and traveled to New market and back, with the return trip taking about 20 minutes.


The new venture has cost $1.14 billion. Fifty-seven electric trains, each carrying up to 375 passengers, will eventually serve the greater Auckland area.

kkn- Washed up whale could explode !!!


After washing up on Canadian Island Newfoundland, a blue whale is in danger of exploding at any time. 

There is disagreement between the Canadian authorities about who is responsible for getting rid of the body.

With only 600 people living there, the town doesn't have the resources to deal with the whale safely.
